Siân is a celebrated session drummer and percussionist, working with a vast variety of artists every year. Whether it's hybrid percussion and electronics to Americana, Folk or Alt-Pop and Rock, Siân brings style and energy to every musical endeavour. Her wealth of experience playing with legacy artists such as China Crisis, Tom Robinson, Haircut 100 & Marti Pellow shines through in her musical understanding and empathy for any scenario.
Siân has been the house drummer for the AMA-UK band for the past 4 years, prior to which she was the recipient of the Instrumentalist of the Year Award. Some highlights with the all-star Americana Association band include backing Candi Staton, Judy Collins, Allison Russell and Mike Scott of The Waterboys.
Alongside live sessions at BBC Maida Vale, BBC R2 Piano Rooms, BBC R6music, and Radio X, Siân is regularly sessioning at locations such as RAK, Abbey Road and Metropolis studios. She also records from her private studio at Drum Audio, producing drum tracks and working with artists on backing/click tracks, as well composing and delivering soundtracks for gaming and sync. Siân is a composer on the recent ABRSM Drum Kit syllabus for their Grade 6 exam.
